Hardy Ferns
Fern Culture: Fern Culture: All ferns do best in soils that drain well and contain plenty of humus in evenly moist conditions. A few ferns, such as ostrich, royal and cinnamon tolerate boggy soil or even flooded conditions. Ferns can be sensitive to high salt levels
incurred from chemical fertilizing, so organic sources typically work best. Most grow best in shade or morning sun.
