Plant in spring after danger from frost is over.   Plant Elephant Ears in average garden soil, about 2 ft. apart with just the tip exposed.    They will do well in full sun or semi-shade.   Water them frequently.  In the fall, dig bulbs before frost. Clean them and store at around 50 degrees through winter.     They are best used as background or border.
