TEMPERATURE: Average warmth from spring to autumn. Keep cool in winter 50-55 degrees is ideal.

LIGHT: Choose the sunniest spot available, especially in winter. Take caution in summer if put outdoors in a full sun, may cause burning.

WATER: Increase watering in the spring thru late summer by watering thoroughly when the soil is just dry. In late summer give less water and after mid autumn water just enough to prevent shriveling.
How to Make a Desert Cactus Bloom:
The secret lies in the fact that most cacti will only flower on new growth. This calls for summer care and winter neglect (cooler temperatures and less water). Flowering is also stimulated when the plant is slightly pot bound.
